Logan Riding His Motorcycle

"Steve" took us up Daniels Canyon to hang out with his friends family and relax. We brought Logan's motorcycle and his endless energy. We were there for about 7 hours and Logan spent all of his time either in the dirt or on his motorcycle. He did hurt himself once by not putting his feet on the pegs. He got his foot caught under the training wheel. It took some encouragement to get him back on the bike, but once he did he didn't want to get off for more then five minutes.
The helmet Logan is wearing is one "Steve" bought himself over 15 years ago! We did purchase a kids helmet for Logan, but the adult helmet fits him much better. Poor kid has a large noggin.

Logan played in the fire with a stick, but not before he put ashes on his face to "protect it from the smoke.". He was sitting on the ground sprinkling dirt on his arms and legs. The kid is nuts when it comes to dirt.

Castle enjoyed himself as well, he played in the dirt and stole any drink that was not in someone's hand. He found it relaxing to sit back and watch the other boys ride their motorcycles.

Okay maybe that is not the entire truth, Castle was very very tired and needed a nap. But "Steve" and I could not get him to go to sleep. Michelle, the wife of "Steve's" friend, took Castle and with a strong will, she was able to get him to go to sleep in the camper. He was much more agreeable when he awoke. I was impressed with Michelle, I would not have outlasted the boy, she is a stronger woman than I.

When we arrived home it took two doses of shampoo and a scrub brush to get the boys clean. It was worth it. I know in the future you will be seeing many more pictures like these.
