As most of you know I have a four year old named Logan and a one year old named Castle. Their father and my husband, "Steve", called me today to tell me about their trip to the park. Castle was safely strapped in his stroller and Logan was riding his red Hot Wheels Scooter. Logan decided to be brave and go down a steep asphalt path that ends in grass. By the time "Steve" caught up to him he was a pile of scooter and Logan lying on the soccer field. As soon as Logan saw his father h
e started to complain about how much he hurt. "Steve" didn't think Logan was hurt as badly as he claimed and decided to show Logan how much it didn't hurt. "Steve" took a crack at riding the scooter down the hill, sure that when he reached the end of the asphalt he would be able to ride the scooter into the grass. Two feet prior to the end of the asphalt "Steve" saw the error in his logic, the grass at the bottom was very tall and the scooter caught it and sent "Steve" in one direction with the scooter going another. Logan, being as concerned for his father as a child who just had his point proven said, "See dad I told you it hurt.".
