TWO!!

Castle's birthday was on Friday, but the weekend ahead is full of celebration, all for him. It officially started with three birthday cards. Logan was so helpful and agreed to help Castle open the cards. The first card opened was from Great Grandma Shirley, Grandma Shar's mom. Logan decided that the five dollar bill could be Castles, and the ten could be Logan's. How thoughtful!! The next card was from Grandma Shar and Grandpa Danny and the final card was from Grandma and Grandpa Plott. With all of the grandkids and great grandkids they have I am impressed with their ability to remember everyone.

An Example of Castle's Attention Span

Castle's gift from Logan, "Steve" and I was an electric motorcycle. He drove it for an hour straight and when it was time to get off he was not pleased! I would say that was a success. Aunt Suzie came out and took Castle, Logan and I to Arctic Circle. Everyone had a blast, Castle was able to climb on everything. Not something he has been able to do for a while. By the time we were finished Logan's face was purple!

Castle had his Cousin's, Aunt and Uncle, Papa and Pepi and the infamous Uncle Billy over on Saturday for some cake and ice cream. He loved the attention and even played with his cousins,not just along side of them. After soccer practice Auntie Lanissa, Sena and Caci came over to play. It doesn't get much better than hanging out with a few hot chicks!

Happy Birthday to Castle!

Sunday was the last day of celebration, but not the least eventful. We took Castle to the California Pizza Kitchen and so many people who love Castle attended. Grandma Denise and Grandpa Joe actually had the day off and came up. David, Laurie and Rebecca made the long trek from Tooele to celebrate with the birthday boy. Auntie Dena couldn't be forced to stay away... they adore her. Last but not least the organizers, Grandma Shar and Grandpa Danny were there to make sure Castle was showered with affection. Castle opened his wonderful gifts and then we all ate pizza. It was a lot of fun.

After lunch we went to Discovery Gateway for some adventure. Everyone had a good time exploring and playing. I think every one's amazement is captured perfectly by this photo of Castle and Auntie Dena.
