Fishing

Papa and Pepe thought the boys would enjoy a little fish pond owned by a couple in Kamas, Willow Springs Fish Farm. There are several fish in the three relatively small ponds. I now understand the saying, "Like shooting fish in a barrel.". Logan really enjoyed himself, he was getting into the casting and setting of the hook. He wasn't very interested in taking the fish off of the hook or putting it out of it's misery. But he could have stayed and fished for hours.

Logan and Papa Preparing the Hook

Castle was having fun putting his pole in the water, but he didn't want anything to do with the fish after it was caught and out of the water. "Steve" thinks it may be my fault, as when Castle and I caught our first fish it was flopping all over the place and I freaked out a bit.... those things are gross!!

The Master Fishermen

Castle did find a prime fishing hole. He discovered the bucket that the fish were being kept in. Once he was there, he didn't leave. He really enjoyed sticking his fishing pole in the bucket with the fish. He didn't seem to notice they were floating upside down.

Castle's Fishing Hole

When it was all over it was time to clean the fish. As you can see Logan was a big help to Papa and the nice fish pond owner. He prefers to take a supervisory role when possible.

Logan Keeping the Old Folks In Line

All and all it was a great trip, the boys had a great time. Logan claimed the capture of all the fish you see here. But it should be noted Castle and mom caught two of them.
